My brother-in-law uses a 3100v2 adapter to connect his Dish cable tv receiver to the internet and it works fine. When I try this 3100v3 adapter, the dish receiver says this USB device is not compatible with the receiver. How to fix?

Hi tfox37380,
The adapter only works with the windows based OS computers and does not work with other devices. If the receiver has ethernet port, I would suggest WNCE2001, WNCE3001 and WNCE4004.

Is it possible to revert v3 to v2 by using v2 software download?

Hi tfox37380,
The drivers for v2 will not work with v3 and vice versa.
