2 Extenders and 1 router setup

Hi, trying to setup WiFi in my home garden office. I have x2 EX7000 extenders to work with my BT homehub 2 router. My idea is to connect the first extender to the Homehub router via WiFi and then use a cat5 cable between the 1st extender and the 2nd extender in my garden home office. But I don’t know what settings to use, ideally I’d like to use the extender in my office for WiFi and via a cable to my laptop. Is this even possible?

    yes you could.

You'll setup the wireless one first with it in extender mode.

Then during the setup of the 2nd, because its hardwired in, it needs to be setup in access point mode.

That tells it to use the hardwired connection for the connection back to the router.

    Should work fine.
