Best device(s) to get wired signal to barn?

I am trying to figure out if there is a configuration of devices that will get me a connected ethernet port in my barn. I have an R6300 Wireless router and was able to get decent wifi signal out to the barn using the AC1200 wi-fi extender.  I am trying to install a self-monitored secuirty system out there and bought a system that was "wi-fi" enabled.  I understood this to mean that the unit gets its internet connection through wi-fi. However this is not the case.  It communicates wirelessly to its sensors, but must be physically plugged into an ethernet port for its internet access.  Is there some kind of adaptor that I can use that will pick up the wifi signal in the barn and allow me to plug in the security system unit?

    Hello bkrett

A lot of our extenders have Ethernet connections on them which should work but I would check what type of speed you need to keep your security system running because when you use a extender you are going to lose some of your internet speed.

HI, Thanks for the input.  The wifi extender I am using isn't actually located out in the barn where I need the ethernet connection.  I tried it out there but wasn't close enough to my router for a strong signal.  I currently have it plugged in at the end of the house closest to the bard which seems to be working to pick up a nice strong signal and also give me a good wifi signal out in the barn.  I read that you can't really piggy-back extenders off of each other, so I am looking for some sort of adaptor that picks up a wifi signal, but has an ethernet port.  Thanks.

        Hello bkrett

Have you looked at orbi it has Ethernet and you do not lose the wifi signal like you do with using extenders.
