Can't connect to AC3000 Desktop Extender (EX8000)

Question

Hi, I have a&nbsp;AC3000 Desktop Extender (EX8000) connected via WiFi to a Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) VDSL /ADSL Router which I've been running for the last few years with a MacOSX setup&nbsp;I've been attempting to access the admin on the EX8000 but just can't find a working gateway?&nbsp;I've tried -&nbsp;1. The Genie App - Connects to Nighthawk Router2. The Nighthawk App - Cannot connect to extender&nbsp;3. mywifiext (both .net and local) / IP Address (via both Safari and Google browsers but the connection cannot be made)&nbsp;Does anybody have any suggestions?&nbsp;&nbsp;Many thanks in advance

What result do you get when trying the IP address?&nbsp;
Have you tried hardwiring into the extender and trying?&nbsp;

Hi, The IP Address can't make a connection (I'm on the same network as the Extender) however I have't tried a hardwired connection.

If I hardwire do I connect through the browser using the IP address or the mywifiext address?

I've hardwired to the extender over Ethernet and still can't form a connection (with without wifi) using the assigned IP, default IP or mywifiext .net or .local (with and without www)&nbsp;The only time a page has loaded is when I'm not connected to the extender network? All other attempts have timed out or refused to connect?&nbsp;I have a working connection with the extender over ethernet as I have internet (wifi off) and I also have a NAS attached to the extender but I just can't find a way into the admin?
