Can't set parental controls. Please Help

I don't know if this is the right place to find help, but...

Does anyone know how to download the Netgear Management Utility file so that I can set parental controls? My computer says there is an error, and it won't open the zip file (error 2048; not a file that QuickTime understands). I am completely inexperienced when it comes to this kind of stuff. I have searched for answers on the Netgear site and the web, but to no avail. There is no customer service available through Net Gear, either.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to SOLVE this problem?

It sounds like you're trying to use an Apple Mac or similar to use the Management Utility, but it only runs on Windows. If you have a Windows machine, use it, otherwise I don't think you can get started. I have a windows PC but the Management Utility freezes when I start it - I can't find a way round this problem at the router itself, so I can't help you out, sorry.

It's either association of file extension of messed on your pc. if you have XP, vista, win7, it can open at ease. If this was Mac, it can open on current OS X platform

Be detail on what O/S you are using when you ask for questions :)
