Cannot connect netgear_ext
netgear_ext connection failed ex7700
I am in the setup process and when I try to connect to my extender it says failed. I've tried everything including resetting the extender.
I don't know what to do to connect to it and finish the setup. Please help.

What error do you get when you try to connect?
When you're resetting, are you pushing and holding reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on?
What happens if you try hardwiring into it for setup?- As soon as I check on the network name it tried to connect and says failed to connect.
Yes I press the reset for 7-10 seconds when on. The orange light blinks and then turns off when I let go. After awhile it becomes solid green again.
I have not tried hardwiring, I'm going to pickup an Ethernet cable and give that a try!Have you tried using a different device?
Or setting up using wps? I usually prefer the installation assistant but WPS does work a lot of the time.
