Connect extender on community wi-fi/internet
I live in a retirement apartment which provides internet access via a wi-fi guest network. I wish to be able to print on my HP Officejet Pro 8620 multi-function device from my new Windows 10 Lenovo desktop wirelessly and also print wirelessly from an IPad Pro and a Microsoft Surface 3. I can get everything on the wi-fi guest network, but can't print to the HP device. So I tried using the Netgear model EX6100v2 to create a different network; I was able to print from the desktop and the two tablet. However, I could no longer get to an internet connection with the desktop or tablets. I believe the network extender is not connected to the internet via my guest wi-fi network. Is what I am trying to do possible, and if so, how do I get the extender network to provide access to the internet?

After sending my message, I was able to get my desktop, printer, IPad, and Surface on the Extender 2 GHZ network. However, the internet service which I receive in my apartment via Wi-Fi network isn't available on this network; and I am unable to connect to the internet with the extender network. In other words, I don't know how to add the Wi-Fi provided signal (over which I have no physical access or control) to the 2 GHZ extender band. Please help!
