Connecting Camera
Other than this may be the most difficult support blog to figure out and that NETGEAR does not allow simple e-mail questions------- I am attempting to connect zmodo camera to wifi extender. The zmodo device does not show up on the list of devices connected to the extender wifi network - other devices do. How can you tell if the camera is running off of the extender, or still running from the original router/modem?

If it's not on the attached device list of the extender, but is on the attached device list of the router, then it is still connected directly to the router.
Also, if the camera is connected through the extender, then the router will show the virtual MAC address supplied by the extender, and not the real MAC address of the camera.
