Creating a MESH Network with Nighthawk R7800 Router
I am currently using an R7800 Nighthawk X4S router with a Netgear AC1200 Dual Band range extender. I would like to create a better more reliable network using MESH. If I keep my R7800, can I add on to it with either the Orbi or Netgear EX7700? The R7800 is on the second floor far end of my home and even with the range-extender, the signal is weak on the first floor opposite end of the house. Would two EX7700 or Orbi do the trick?

Re: Creating a MESH Network with Nighthawk R7800 Router
Hey BillE7448 - You can certainly run two EX7700's. In the post linked below, our superuser, @TheEther provides valuable information on using two extenders.
You can certainly run an Orbi as well if you currently have an Orbi router + satellite. Though, the Orbi router will need to be in access point (AP) mode.
