EX6250 Netgear AC1750 Mesh Extender - No Longer Works
TL;DR: After the power cutting out, my device no longer shows itself in my Wi-Fi network options for any device, even after multiple factory resets. How do I fix it to where (1) the extensions appear in the Wi-Fi networks menu for any of my devices, and (2) I can connect to either extension and enjoy the fast internet speeds I did prior to the power outage?
I purchased this product in July 2024 and set it up with little hassle and much success. After setting up the device, I could connect to either the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz extensions from any device with rapidly improved internet speeds to show for it.
It has worked flawlessly until about a week ago. The power went out in my home for an hour, and when power was restored, my extender no longer functioned as it did before. I could connect to it and it showed up in my Wi-Fi networks menus for all of my devices, but my connection was stuttering. The lights were on in normal fashion, and mywifiext in the web browser showed that everything functioned normally.
I then enacted a factory reset, first linking the device with my Nighthawk app on my phone. It almost set up appropriately, but then there was an error that stated it could no longer continue setting up the extender. It failed at that point and I couldn't connect to it. I resolved to initiate another factory reset.
After the second factory reset, I set up the device using mywifiext in the web browser. I followed the steps with no difficulties and mywifiext stated the setup was a success. However, it also stated there was no connection with either the 2.4GHz nor the 5GHz extensions. Further, the extensions do not show up on my Wi-Fi networks menus on any of my devices. Mywifiext only offers that I "smart setup" the extender again, but that takes me through a loop of initializing the extender with my network again, getting to the same outcome. The lights on the device are solid green on every light port, no blinking. I troubleshooted my router and modem and they are functioning normally.
I called customer service and they said my hardware is working fine, and that there is a software issue. Unfortunately, that is the most they could assist me with, as for them to troubleshoot the issue will cost, at minimum, $49 to perform, and that will not even guarantee results. They will not bother to troubleshoot it further, nor honor my hardware warranty, unless I pay to have this "premium" service.
How do I fix the extender to where (1) the extensions appear in the Wi-Fi networks menu for any of my devices, and (2) I can connect to either extension and enjoy the fast internet speeds I did prior to the power outage?
BELOW ATTACHED: A screenshot of what mywifiext shows when I view the status of my extender.
Thanks, all!

A couple things.
1. your photo is showing that the extender is connected back to the router fine with both channels. The "no connection" just means that nothing is connected to the 2.4ghz channel currently.
2. Are you using one wifi? Or did you disable it? That combines the ssid's all into one and allows devices to roam between the router and the extender and even between the different bands.
3. What firmware are you on?
4. What router is it connected to?
5. How far from the router is it and what materials are between the 2 devices (aka what are the walls made from)
6. Do hardwired devices work fine? Try speedtesting a hardwired device. What speeds do you get? And what speeds does the router get hardwired?

Thank you for the response back. Here are my responses to each of your points:
(1) Good to know, thank you.
(2) I did not disable both Wi-Fi networks. Just like how I set it up initially in July, I have them merged under the same identity, but after I did that, they were separate networks to join in the Wi-Fi networks menu. Now, I can't see either in the Wi-Fi networks menu.
(3) My firmware version is: V1.0.0.146.
(4) It is connected to my one router. I'm not sure how else to answer your question.
(5) The router is upstairs and the mesh extender is plugged in directly downstairs in the basement. Separating each floor is just wood, no concrete. I usually access my devices from in the basement, and the only place the router can be is upstairs.
(6) I have not done any hardwired tests, as I cannot run an ethernet cord to my computer downstairs. My router's speeds are fine when accessing devices upstairs, and I have no issues with its speed.
