EX7000 - NEED TO REBOOT EVERY DAY
I have the "NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Desktop WiFi Range Extender (EX7000-100NAS)" implemented in my house wireless network. This device works fantastic but it lost connection every single day. I work...

"It's quite appealing customer experience really have to do this."
So you did enjoy the experience?

I did as the previous poster advised and rolled back to the previous 1.0.0.66, to a factory reset, and reconfigure it from scratch.
It now seems stable again.
It's quite appealing customer experience really have to do this.
Joe Public with little or no computer experience would never be able to use one of these.
The other reason I did this was because the response I received from support was like a page long of config and settings to try on my main router (not even the problem hardware!!) and even change the channels it used on both frequencies.
My other big concern is the force an update hinting it contains a security update and it makes it worse.
Very poor netgear.
Thought my previous experience with an Asus extender was bad... This isn't any better at the moment I'm afraid.
Please provide the 1. 0.0.66 firmware update with the security fix.

I have the same problem. Lasts for about a week then locks up. Why is there no log? Is there a secret webnpage with the system log or a secret SSH login to view the log?
- Hardware Version EX7000
- Firmware Version V1.0.1.78_1.0.140
Strangely, I have two devices on the same network which both lock up at the same time. Also, I recommended the same device to my parents and theirs also does exactly the same thing since the firmware upgrade. :manmad:
Will try a factory resent then reconfigure from scratch then if that doesn't work will try to roll back firmware.

Same issue here, couple of times a week it needs a manual reboot as it stops providing internet access but is still a visible WiFi connection. Using as an additonal wired access point for my R7000. Bought to replace a pair of NETGEAR EX6120 as they also had issues where they stopped working and needed a reboot. Think I am going to have to try a different supplier and return this if not sorted soon.
