I installed the EX8000 extender and have a few questions about the wireless 5G READYShare connection from 192.168.1.250 and number of 5G bands.
I am connected to the router at 192.168.1.3 and use this address to login and setup the extender. When I enter the 192.168.1.250 address into my browser I always get an error that states address not found. However the router lists 192.168.1.250 as a wireless 5G readyshare device.
Questions:
1. What is this readyshare address's use? I do not have any USB or readyshare devices.
2.Since I am not using readyshare or cannot use this address to login, can I disable it? If so how?
3. I purchased the EX8000 for the tri-band but in extender mode I am only allowed to setup the 2.4 G and one (1) 5G band. Both 5G bands on my router have different names but in EX8000 I must choose only one. Am I missing something or am I right that in extender (same name as router mode) I can only setup 1-2.4G and 1-5G band and must choose one?
Thank you for your help and explanations
