The wi-fi still works but the ethernet port stopped. Extender is about a year old. I reset the extender but that didn't help. Any ideas?

Ethernet light is lit on the extender when plugged in. The device that's plugged into it does not have a light.

That sounds like the client device ethernet port. Can you try connecting the extender to a different ethernet device? Or perhaps connect the client device directly to the router?
