Ethernet port stopped working

The wi-fi still works but the ethernet port stopped.  Extender is about a year old.  I reset the extender but that didn't help. Any ideas?

That sounds like the client device ethernet port.

 

Can you try connecting the extender to a different ethernet device?  Or perhaps connect the client device directly to the router?

      Sorry....plugging directly into the router.  I don't have another device to test the extender at the moment.  I'm working on my laptop now and can't log out.  I'll have to wait until lunch.

        Laptop did not connect. Only wireless works.
