Everything set up properly - Still no connection
Disclaimer, I'm not the best with this type of stuff so please bear with me. So I purchased this extender, obviously, to help with connectivity issues on the top floor. After having issues with the WPS method of syncing the router and extender, I went through the browser method. I followed the steps up to step 10, where it says "Use a Wifi Network manager on the computer or wifi devic to connect to the new extended wifi network - you must connect your computer or wifi device before you click the continue button"...I'm assuming this simply means select the new SSID associated with the extender and connect. Not sure what they mean about the whole "continue" thing but I'm at a loss here. The SSID for the extender is an option in my list of available wifi networks, and it has maximum "bars", but when I connect and attempt to open a browser (any browser) it immediately says no connection. This is the case with any application that requires a connection. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi JoeShmoe120,
Welcome to the community!
Yes, you are correct in your assumption. The "continue" option means clicking on the continue button found during the setup process after connecting to the extended network. This usually allows you to complete the entire setup process before relocating the extender. What is the Router Link LED status at this stage of the setup? Does the extender show up as a connected device on your router's list of attached devices?

- JoeShmoe120AspirantThank you for the response! All the lights are lit solid green (including router link LED). I’m not quite sure how to bring that menu back up, however, to allow me to “continue”. I also don’t quite know how to check if the extended shows up on the list of attached devices. If by that you mean does it show up on the list of available then yes it does. Sorry! Im not great with this stuff.

Hi JoeShmoe120,
All green lights should indicate that the extender has successfully connected to the router. Have you tried resetting the extender back to factory defaults and going through the setup using a different device? A laptop or a computer perhaps? This will allow you to easily switch over to the extended network and switch back to the browser to complete the process and select continue.
