Extender not connecting to new router

I live in the UK and have used my netgear extender with a talk talk router for a while with no problems.  I recently changed my router to an ee one and tried to connect the extender via wps last night but it would not connect.

Does anyone have any experience with this or possible solutions?

You will need to factory reset the unit by holding the reset button for 10+  seconds then you should be able to link it with the new modem with WPS.
