I have the Netgear N300 wifi range extender. I have a new router now, so I have to pair the extender with it. I did it throught the browser setup when i did it the first time. Problem is, now when I plug in the extender close to the router, my computer doesn't come up with a netgear_ext network. I even tried with the WPS method, and nothing. I've even tried resetting to factory settings and nothing. Any advice?
Can you please confirm which NETGEAR N300 WiFi extender you have? (Ex. PR2000, WN3000RP, etc)
Also which router are you now using?
Do you have another computer/mobile device that can connect to WiFi networks? Please try to see if those devices can detect the NETGEAR_EXT WiFI network
