IP reservation with WN2000RPT
I have a Netgear WNDR3400 Router and a newly installed WN2000RT range extender.
I use IP reservation on webcams on my router. I added another webcam and the Range extender this weekend.
I do the DHCP from the router.
If i view the routers ip table, my camera is coming up as device 2 with the mac address on the range extender.
2 192.168.1.11 WN2000RPT E0:91:F5:CC:FB:51
the ip of my range extender is
192.168.1.250.
Do all the devices that connect to the range extended get the mac address of the WN2000RPT?
If so how can I reserve ips based on mac adress with the range extender?

Yes - the WN2000RPT is the "next hop" so all transmissions sent to a device connected to it MUST be sent to the WN2000RPT.If so how can I reserve ips based on mac adress with the range extender?
You can't reserve an ip address, but you should be able to assign a static ip address - consult the manual for your camera for the details.
