MYWIFIEXT.NET is preventing home page loading

I used the range extender to access my brother's signal next door  prior to installing my own account with ATT today. For some reason even though the range extender is disconnected and I am using a different wireless connection id and password whenever I try to access my.yahoo.com, my homepage, the website for the extender web site(mywifiext.net) comes up and I am unable to get anywhere else as it gives me a 404 file or directory not found error.

What is going on?

    What you describe suggests to me that the extender has lost contact with the base station, if you can access the extender admin pages then I suggest that you check the connection back to the base station and re-scan / re-connect if necessary.
