Netgear EX3700 connection drop, Constantly

Hi,

I have a Netgear EX3700 Wifi extender, Great piece of equipment however I constantly have an issue where I will lose connection for a brief moment. They are more than common to be a small issue and it's got to the point where I'll most likely be looking at other wifi extenders. The signal I have is 80% from my router and I've followed most if not all guides on how to fix this. I've updated the firmware before anyone asks because that seems to be everyones answer.

I have also tried 

  1. -restarting the router
  2. -restarting the reciever
  3. -resetting the router
  4. -resetting the reciever
  5. - disconnecting android devices to isolate error
  6. - disconnecting windows devices to isolate the error
  7. - different wifi channels ( see above)
  8. - fastlane technology (used all available options, no difference)
  9. - different networks
  10. - attempted 2.4 and 5ghz networks with different channels, made no difference.

I am more than welcome to sugestions on how else I can fix this as I would prefer to resolve the issue with this extender.
