Netgear N300 Range Extender and Netgear LB1120 Broadband Modem
I have just bought a Netgear N300 Wifi Range Extender to help me provide access to my wifi in my home and cannot connect the range extender to the broadband modem connected to an Actiontec router as the broadband modem does not have WPS. I keep getting the message to press the WPS button on my router and there is none. Neither the modem nor the router have a WPS button. At least I believe that is where the problem lies. Can anyone help? Maybe I bought the wrong extender!!

Hi rgeofroy,
Welcome to the community!
1. The extender should connect to the wireless signal being broadcasted by the Actiontec router.
2. You can manually connect the extender to the main wireless network. Page 10 of the Installation Guide linked below may help out.
