Nighthawk X4S EX7500 - No Internet Connection Issue

I have seen some previous posts about connection issues with the X4S EX7500 and I too am having problems with this Wifi Extender. I have done a FEW factory resets and have had no luck in a consistant reliable connection. My router has an active internet connection yet the EX7500 is unable to distribute any internet access.

I have also tried to downgrade the firmware to a previous, more functional, version with no luck.

Is there a new firmware being release in the near future to deal with this issue?

Is there a process I can follow to successfully install a previous firmware version for now?

    Hello Stoic_Brow

    1. Does the extender appear as an attached device when you check the router UI?

    2. Are device(s) able to connect to the EX7500? If so, what device(s)?

      1) Yes the router has the EX7500 listed as a connected device.

      2) I have a Nvidia Shield TV, a Surface Pro, and a Sony Xperia Z3 connected to the extension network.

The extender cannot even check for firmware on its own because it says it is not connected to the internet, but other devices I have connected to the original network do have an internet connection.

It is useless in its current state.
