Orange light of death!
N300 WiFi range extender model: EX2700 just stopped working all of a sudden. When we follow the reset instructions the power light never turns green, it stays orange. However the mywifiext.net keeps saying it needs to be reset but the extender will not reset!

Re: Orange light of death!
Hi Jlruedi, vikashumble,
Please see the user manual to reset your EX2700 to factory defaults (page 25 of 35)
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/EX2700/EX2700_UM_15July2014.pdf
Insert a paper clip into the Factory Reset hole and hold it until the Power LED blinks amber.
Release the button.
All the LEDs turn off for about 3 seconds.
The Power LED lights solid amber for about 30 seconds.
The Power LED lights solid green.
The extender returns to its factory settings
