Please, Help!!! I cannot connect my wifi extender WN1000RP

Please, help me!!! I have a wifi extender WN1000RP. When I try to connect tell me "wrong password". I think that I have to change from WPA to WEP, but my modem (fastweb, I have new line) when I choose WEP don't work (red light in Wifi spy). What I have to do? Please!!!

    Hi spinosauro,

     

    Please reset your WN1000RP back to factory defaults:
    Press and hold the Factory Settings button on the side panel for 7 seconds. The booster resets, and returns to its factory settings.

     

    Please follow the steps on page 7 of 20. http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN1000RP/WN1000RP_IG_22Nov2013.pdf

    You can set up the WN1000RP through WPS or your internet browser.

     

    During the setup, please select "use the same security settings as your existing network"
