Router(R6350) Not Working With Switch

Question

My route when connected to my switch will not send data to the switch or my computer plugged into my switch. Connected directly to the router the ethernet works fine but connected to the switch with my computer plugged into the switch it does not send data but still sees the ethernet cable plugged in. Any help or question would be appreciated.

I believe the cable is working as I have plugged my computer into it and I get a connection.

I do not have another switch.

The the software is version 1.1.0.66_1.0.1

The switch is a TP-Link TL-R860

Have you tried a different switch?Or different cabling? &nbsp;What firmware is on the router?What switch is it?&nbsp;

that's not a switch.&nbsp;Its a dsl/cable routerhttps://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/wired-router/tl-r860/

plus its only a 10/100mbps device.&nbsp;A cheap 8 port gigabit unmanaged switch can usually be purchased for under 20.&nbsp;You potentially could get it working properly but buying a proper switch is what I'd recommend.&nbsp;
