Unable to update Firmware - Can't open file on Mac - EX2700-V1: April 2018

Everytime I tried to open the downloaded firm ware update file for my EX2700 N300 my Mac says no way are you opening this file buddy!  I was able to update the firmware  sucessfully before by right...

    Try to log into the extender by going to 192.168.1.250 or if you can find the IP address of the extender in your routers settings use that IP to access the extender.

    Problem solved.

    I was still on my main “ home” network and not on the Netgear extender

    one,so the browser woul not load.

     

    Sorted out my “looping” browser problem.

    So all good again.
