Unstable HP printer connection to extender network
When I connect my HP ENVY 5646 printer to my EX2700 wifi extender network (SSID 10E2FB_EXT) the wifi connection is unstable and although the printer works OK for a while it drops out after a few hours. Then even though the printer display continues to indicate that it is connected and the signal is strong I can't print from my Macbook which says that the printer is either busy or offline. However if instead I connect the printer directly to my router's wifi network (SSID 10E2FB) the connection is stable over a long time, the printer works OK even when my Macbook is connected to the extender network, but the wifi signal is weak.
All of my other devices (MacbookPro, iPad, Roberts Internet radio) are wifi connected to the extender network and work well, so why is my printer connection to the EX2700 wifi network a problem and how do I solve it ?
I am using Apple's Airprint software to access the printer from my MacbookPro and iPad.
My router is a technicolor TG582n supplied by Plusnet.
It's so frustrating not being able to reliably connect my printer to the extender network.
Any useful ideas would be appreciated

Re: Unstable HP printer connection to extender network
Have you checked for any firmware updates on that printer?
