WN2000RPT Setup Trouble

I have been trying to set up the WN2000RPT and am running into problems.

The Genie setup went smoothly, identified my access point and connected.  After the screen where it says to connect your wireless devices and continue is where the trouble starts.

The next screen does not come up (Welcome or Thank you page).  There is a DNS error, 404 page not found.  So after the configuration, the server seems defunct.  At this point, I can connect to the WN2000RPT and certain pages do load, such as Google and Facebook, but most other pages do not work, such as Amazon, Ebay, etc. (DNS error, 404 page not found)

I update the router firmware to 1.0.1.4 but still have the same trouble.  Once it configures, the only way to get back to administer it is to do a reset, holding the switch for 60 seconds and then starting over.  

I was on the phone with support, but the lady seemed to be running me through the same troubleshooting steps over & over, to no avail.

Any ideas?  Or should I return the unit as defective and try a replacement?
