WN3000RPv3 keeps asking for security key

Normally, I just select the router-EXT and I connect.  Today, it keeps asking for my security key.  Enter it. Nothing.  Just keeps asking for the key.  Using an older iPad.  Also, my iPhone and laptop cannot connect.  Factory reset?

    1. Can you connect to the main network with the same password (if you used the same password)?

    2. Have you tried logging in to the extender's UI to confirm if the password is correct?
