WiFi Extender Password EX3110

I am trying to connect to my Wifi extender and it is asking for a password. I dont see a password on back of device and it will not accept my router password.

did you already set it up?
Did you set it up using wps?
If so, try factory resetting it and then try reinstalling using the installation wizard and now wps.
when its running in defaults it should be called NETGEAR_EXT and should be open. follow the installation assistan guide and not wps.

how do I do the factory reset? There is a button on the side for reset but nothing comes up on my computer in terms of instructions when I hit it. or a installation wizard?

To reset you have to push and hold the reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. That'll get it back to defaults.
The manual has instructions for using the installation wizard. The guide also has these. you can find both here:
