We have been trying to connect the Netgear AX1800 wifi extender to our network but after we select our network to connect and try to put our password in it is saying the password is incorrect. We have tried to reset both devices, we are completely at a loss as to what to try next. We both have typed in the network password also to make sure that it is correctly typed so it isn’t that! Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.

What router are you connecting to?
How are you connecting the extender?
Have you tried WPS?
Which Netgear device do you have?
AX1800 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AX tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
If this really is an extender, then this isn't the best place to ask for help.
