e-mail and password for EX-7000
Looking at getting a Netgear EX7000 range extende for my R-7000 wireless router setup. I see on the setup instructions, it requires an e-mail address and password to get through the setup. I don't want to use these. Can I use the same password as my router ("admin" "Password")?

Re: e-mail and password for EX-7000
Hi sktn77a,
The email used as a username was added as an additional security feature (you can use a completely made up one if you'd like). You may still set password to "password".
Please note that using your email as a username does not register your email for the product.
Once the EX7000 has completed setup, on your first login, it will ask you to register your EX7000. You have the option to skip this registration.
If you forget any of the login credentials or security questions, you can factory reset the EX7000.

OK, thanks. Seems weird that the routers don't require this but the extender does.
Sigh!
