ex6150v2 client link LED is dark (Router link LED is green)
The client link LED is dark. (The routr link LED is Green). This worked properly for a long time.
I am trying to connect a 'samsung 'Tablet to a speaker via the extender.
I tried moving the tablet next to the extender with no luck.

Re: ex6150v2 client link LED is dark (Router link LED is green)
Hi @alsarnotsky,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the firmware version of the extender?
2. If the client LED is off, that means that there is no device connected to the extender's signal.
3. Is it a WiFi speaker? What model?
4. Is the tablet still able to detect to extender's signal?
5. Are you getting an error? If yes, what is the error?
Regards,
Dexter

Re: ex6150v2 client link LED is dark (Router link LED is green)
I do not know the firmare version of the extender. (There is a "v2" associated with the model number). How do I find the firmware number?}
The speaker is a small blue tooth speaker, "iHOME Model iB60B"
As of this moment the Tablet is getting a signal from the main router. It says that the extender is out of range even when I put the tablet within 18 inches of the extender. (The tablet is getting a signal from the main router and is sending it to the speake, which is playing music at this momant). Thus, no the tablet is unable to detect the extender's signal.
There is no error message that I see.

Hi @alsarnotsky,
Thank you for responding.
1. Do you have other wireless devices that can connect to the extender?
2. I believe your tablet is connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth and not via WiFi.

Re: ex6150v2 client link LED is dark (Router link LED is green)
I just tried my LG smartphone and the phone did not find the extender as a source with which to connect. I have not tried other devices. I think the only other device I have is my wife's cell phone. So, at this time neither my cell phone nor my wife's tablet can connect to the extender.
You are correct the tablet is connecting to the speaker via Bluetooth and not via WiFi..

Re: ex6150v2 client link LED is dark (Router link LED is green)
Hi @alsarnotsky,
If that is the case, you may want to consider resetting the extender and go through the setup process to make sure that it has been properly configured to connect to your main wireless network. Page 41 of the user manual on this link may help for the reset. This link for the installation guide may also be helpful.
