where to best place ex6400 extender ac1900
I just purchased this extender. My question is, if I want to have wifi in my garage which is 100 ft or more from my router should the extender be placed at a outlet closest to the garage or in the garage itself? Or is that just too far to expect a good result?

Many factors play a role when it comes to signal such as house structure, wall material, etc. Place the extender in an outlet closest to the garage to begin with. Monitor and depending on the performance, you can either move the extender closer to the router or in the garage.
