wifi extended status light

Hi! 

the status light of my wifi extended never turns green (stays amber).  I tried to reset but even that doesnt work (the status light does not start blinking).  Any suggestion?  thanks

    An amber light means the extender only has a fair connection to the router.  You may have to move the extender closer to the router.  See page 7 in the manual about changing the light to green.
