But is it possible to use it to extend a wifi tbat requires connexion ?
Works great home as a repeater of my own "internet box".... but while on holiday in secundary home, there is a "building network" that requires a specific connexion (sends to a special webpage, enter a user and password and gets the internet by wifi)... is the Wn3500rp useless in that case ? I've tried to connect my smartphone to the wn3500 expecting to get the "registration webpage" in the rooms where the original wifi signal does'nt get, but it does'nt work.... i apology not to be a spécialist at all and i guess my question is certainly obvious to many of you. Thanks.

The repeater is probably not going to work with a Wi-Fi connection that requires a login (aka a captive portal).
Some captive portals track logged in clients by MAC address, in which case a travel router that has the ability to change its MAC address would work. The idea is to first log in to the captive portal with a computer. Then switch to using the travel router.
