New firmware of EX6200?

Hi everyone, I have my EX6200 running on AP mode and connected to my R7000 with the cable (firmware version=1.0.3.68). I encounterred the same problem described in the topic "EX6200 connection issues with the firmware version V1.0.3.68_1.1.104", no matter how I set for EX6200, the wireless connection speed never exceeded 54mbps. I saw the solution in that topic was to roll back to previous version, I just wonder if there will be a new firmware to solve this issue eventually (this is a huge issue in my opinion for such networking product). Downgrade to previous version should not be a final solution, isn't it?

  • Netgear isnt one for rapid change when they get it wrong, "looks good so it cant be all bad", WRONG.

They have had so many report this I cannot believe how poor they respond.

Agree. In my opinion such bug is not acceptable for a product like EX6200, it's like having a car but only run 10KM per hour at max. I don't know if others didn't notice this issue or it only happens to some special ones.

Hi DarrenM, thanks for letting me know, I will definitely try it.

  • I have disabled the 2.4Ghz and did have a chance to test it. 5Ghz seems no problem here.

      Hello noboundaries

You may want to try a factory reset and load the new firmware on it.

        Guide

        Tried that Darren no joy..

It came on green 2.4 and then flicked to amber .

I had a look at the browser log in and 24 mbs down form 300Mbs.

Changed channels on the router, no joy

I have disable the 2.4 for now on the router (d6300) and extender.
