Dear All, I have a Routeur 4G LTE Nighthawk REF R7100LG with Failover settinf from ISP1 FTTLA to ISP2 4G. Firmware Version : V1.0.0.42_1.0.6 I have the following setting. WAN Acces from Fiber ISP1 : DNS set with Open DNS with Primary 208.67.222.222 · Secondaty 208.67.220.220 WAN Acces from 4G ISP2 is impossible de go to internet with my French ISP : Bouygues Telecom 4G do not accept other DNS. Any chanche to have 2 specific DNS Setting. It will be nice to have in the next firmware release DNS Setting primary for ISP1 DNS Setting secondary for ISP1 DNS Setting primary for ISP2 DNS Setting secondary for ISP2 If we do not have this setting, in France it will be impossible to run with OpenDNS on ISP1 as OpenDNS is not allowed on 4G sim card. Many thanks in advance Olivier6.8KViews0likes1CommentLACP on gigabit ethernet port for R7000P and above
Hello, The device is really cool but I can't understand why there is no LACP... Wifi is faster than the gigabit ethernet ports? Is it really ok for you? I really hope there will be a LACP version of this model, or maybe better... a new firmware with this option. It should be so great for home NAS to perform in good condition HD streaming. Secondly, is it possible to connect a 4G router (netgear AC810AC) on USB3 to make a internet "failover". It should be great too. Thanks for reading me. And thank for the goos job you make on these products. Kind Regards, Nicolas.9.7KViews1like0CommentsNeed some advice on signal booster 4G/LTE ?
Hi all, im new here :) i don't own any Netgear products at the moment but am thinking of purchasing some, but here is my issue. Early on i was on eBay, i seen a Sunhans signal booster 1800 MHZ LTE booster the seller is based in South Korea and am not sure if i wanna take the plunge as I've never had a outdoor indoor mobile phone signal repeater booster. So then i jumped onto Amazon i came across the NETGEAR DC112A my issue is, i'm on UK 3 Network soon as i step outside my house, my smartphone jumps onto LTE and internet is really fast.. But soon as i walk in i lose all signal. For example the kitchen there is no signal if there is its real patchy i cant really take calls in the kitchen. Same goes for my living room as calls drop and internet takes for ever to load up pages same issue is in my bedroom.. So my question is do Netgear sell a router or product that will boost the LTE signal ??? spefically that will boost 1800MHz (Band 3) ? i'm not interested in sim slot or hotspots, i need a signal booster ? is this possible ? Can some one please advise me i will be very grateful.. Thanks..Solved
