ex8000 nighthawk X6S mesh network via AP mode
I have a Nighthawk X6S EX8000 and would like to know if the mesh WiFi will still work if in AP mode? I have a Nighthawk X4S router and have an Ethernet cable ran to where I have the Nighthawk X6S extender, is there a way to have the mesh WiFi work without having the WiFi extender connect to router via WiFi

Netgear R7000 not letting me login after putting it on AP mode
Hi, I remember first installing the R7000, I was displayed with either AP mode (not sure if that was what it was called) or regular mode. I chose AP mode, as I had slower connections on regular mode. Now that there have been so many updates, I want to update my R700 for security purposes. However, I am unable to do so, as everytime I try 192.168.0.1 or routerlogin.com. I am taken to my modems menu and not my netgear R7000 menu. The modem is a Netgear CG3000-2STAUS (Yes Optus provided modem). I've looked through many articles that have been suggested to me; however, none of them have address my issue. I tried restting both the modem and router, and when I do, all my devices are still connected to the router. Everything is the same and nothing changes when I try to reset. I hope there is an answer out there, tecnical support via telephone has passed, and so has the warranty.
