DNS Problems with Mesh VPN
Hello Everyone! I currently have a nighthawk netgear mesh system (MR60) and was able to setup a VPN through open VPN. I am able to connect to the network externally fine at this point in time. I am able to then connect to my PC though my IP address through Microsoft RDP app on my phone which is great however I have a use to be able to connect to my PC by its name. Has anyone had any luck with doing this? I heard it is a DNS issue however I am unsure how to resolve this with the router settings! I have a nighthawk mr60 set up as my router with a nowtv hub 2 physically connected to it. If I use my iPhone for video calls via WhatsApp the call freezes instantly then cycles through reconnecting and freezing. I’ve had the nowtv router changed and if I use that to connect to my WhatsApp calls work fine. The nighthawk is on the latest firmware v1.0.6.110. Suggestions please - flummoxed...
