ReadyNAS 104 Unable to Update Firmware
I have 4 ReadyNAS 104's, each are presently running under firmware 6.2.5, but when you view them in RAIDar they show 6.4.2, so something ammiss there? I have tried selecting the 'Check for Updates' option but this does absolutlty nothing.... I have tried downloading firmware 'ReadyNASOS-6.5.2-arm' from the Netgear downloads site and tried to install this on 2 of the 4 boxes, both go through the motions but when they come back up after supoosedly installing the firmware they are still running under 6.2.5. I really cannot afford to loose any data, is there a way to force these to be updated or am i trying to install the wrong version? someone hinted that i need to update the firmware to sort out very bad speed issues with these boxes James4.2KViews0likes12Comments
