XS716T with LACP and FreeNAS
Dear community, I'm just about to setup LACP in my network in order to provide link redundancy when accessing our FreeNAS server. I updated firmware of XS716T to newest version 6.6.3.3. When creating the link aggregation, however, I'm not sure what to select at "Hash mode". There are 6 different options: - 1 Src MAC, VLAN, EType, incoming port - 2 Dest Mac, VLAN, EType, incoming port - 3 Src/Dest MAC, VLAN, EType, incoming port - 4 Src IP and Src TCP/UDP Port fields - 5 Dest IP and Dest TCP/UDP Port fields - 6 Src/Dest IP and TCP/UDP Port fields As far as I remember, mode 3 is the most compatible mode. However, I have read that selecting mode 6 will give maximum performance and reliability? What mode should be selected when link redundancy is the number one priority? Is it correct to set STP mode and Link Trap on "enabled"? Thanks so much for your help! Kind Regards, ScampicfxSolved
