Hi, all I just update my GS308EP firmware to 2.0.0.11. POE schedule is a great feature but I have some thought. If start date and end date is not set, the schedule will not work. If I want schedule work every day until I changed my mind, these two date seems not necessary. Now I have to set it from now to the end of the year and I have to change these two dates to make schedule work next year. The schedule need two time range to work. I want some port power up at 6:00am and power off at 8:00pm. I have to set 6:00am to 12:am and 12:am to 8:00pm. The device will power off at 12:00am and the power up again. That is not very convenient. Hope this feature will getting better. Thanks for great work.Netgear GS308EP
Morning all from UK. Just purchased my first ever switch and decided to go for one with POE as I want to eventually run a couple of security cameras. I've only just installed the switch and am taking time to make sure I don't do something silly. I know that this switch doesn't have a DHCP server and doesn't therefore allocate IP addresses but logging on using the Netgear Discovery Tool, on the first page it says; "IP Address (DHCP ON)", and if you click on the link it expands the page and the first item is; DHCP - assign the address automatically - and an on/off slider button. Default is on. Am I correct in assuming that the switch being "on", merely allows pass through of IP addresses allocated by the router? Although I don't plan to touch this setting, can I just ask that if this slider is turned "Off", do all the devices connected to the switch lose their allocated IP addresses? Apologies if this is a basic question but I am in the learning stage. Thanks
