Migrating TimeMachine Sparsebundle from LACIE to ReadyNas102
Hello all I have a Lacie NAS with my TimeMachine backup in it. The sparsebundle is nearly 1TB. I would like to move it to a private TimeMachine in my ReadyNas 102. I would like to do as follow, and I would like to know if I am correct. 1 - connect my LaCie to the RN 102 via eSATA if possible. 2 - in front view, copy the sparsebundle from LACIE to a share in the ready NAS 3 - in my mac Finder, via SMB, I move the sparsebundle from the share to the timemachine folder, making it visible with the "command+shift+." trick. 4 - now my doubt is: can I choose the "mac book pro" in TimeMachine when I select disk?
