NV+ failure

NV+ failed - brief flash of lights above drive indicators. Need recovery solution.
My READYnas NV+ wont turn on. If I unplug and plug back in the first time I press power button I get a brief flash above the hard drive indicators. The second time nothing. If I unplug and back in I get the flash again. I need to get the data off the device and hopefully repair the device if possible. I know the answer is in the forumn somewhere but searching has led to many dead ends. Sorry in advance for repeating the question. Two questions: 1) Any solutions for device? 2) Would any of the newer devices accept the drives "as is" so data is recoverable?
