Upgrade or replace Nighthawk R7000?
I have an R7000 and a PLW1010 Extender. I hate having additional wifi signals and the switching that is required when I move between rooms. Unless there's a way to reconfigure the PLW1010 to be a Mesh style access point, it seems I have two choices to move to a Mesh network (which I assume, perhaps incorrectly, will be easier and faster). I don't necessarily need the powerline option. The signal from downstairs just barely makes it upstairs and would reach a mesh extender. AC1900, AC2200 or X4S (no idea what the diff is) Change the whole setup to ORBI or other. What makes the most sense?Solved2KViews0likes2Comments
