R7000 remote device not showing up in iOS Mobile Netgear Genie App
I have been using the Netgear Genie App to control my router from my iPhone 6 for a couple months. It worked great! I have an account, I was able to use Network Map to block/open wifi on my devices at home. Then, a few weeks ago, it just wouldn't show up anymore in my Remote Devices when I log into my Remote Access. I have upgraded my router, upgraded my NetGear Genie on my desktop. My iOS app seems to have been updated automatically if it was needed. I really do not know what else to do.

ReadyCLOUD registration with R7000
I am trying to set up ReadyCLOUD so that I can access files from the usb drive currently connected to the router. I am able to access files within the netword without problems, but once I am in Netgear Genie, it will not let me register the router to my ReadyCLOUD account. I have searched the discussion boards and have found that this is a fairly common problem, and I have tried rebooting, resetting, restarting the computer, etc., but every time it is still the same result: I am able to login to readycloud.netgear.com just fine. Device: Nighthawk R7000 Firmware: V1.0.7.6_1.1.99 OS: macOS Sierra 10.2.2

Can not open certain ports on NightHawk R7000
I am trying to open some ports on my NightHawk R7000 router to access IP cameras that are within my LAN from the outside (WAN). After I open the ports in the Port Forwarding page of the router's web interface (NETGEAR genie), I run CanYouSeeMe.org to test the ports. Other than port 80, 8080 and a few others, all of them give a failed status (i.e., they are not Open). Questions: 1) Is there any reason my router might not be opening the ports, even though it shows they are open on the web interface? 2) I wondered if my ISP could be blocking all of those ports somehow, so I asked them. They said they are not blocking anything. So, does anyone have an idea how to test my router port status without having to go through my ISP?

Nighthawk R7000 vpn connected but no internet access
Alright, so I'm on vacation at the mountains. I tried getting on my vpn via openvpn that I setup a while ago. The vpn connection use to work on my laptop everytime I used it. Yesterday I arrived at the mountain house,turned on my laptop, ran openvpn gui as admin, and connected successfully, however when I highlight my Wi-Fi it says unidentified network, no internet access. Very strange because my vpn has always worked and all of a sudden it's not. So I got on my phone (htc 10), and tried openvpn, and I can connect to my home network and view my local devices. So Android works, but windows isn't getting internet access. So I updated openvpn to the latest version, restarted my computer, logged into my router via remote connection, downloaded the windows vpn files, extracted them and put them in the config folder, and renamed tap to NETGEAR-VPN. Ran openvpn guo as admin, and again I get connected successfully, but no internet access. Any help on this would be amazing, thank you!
