NETGEAR Powerline 1000 (PL1000)
Hi. Need help. Our Internet provider just updgraded our router to a 5G Arris because our smart tv would buffer and we could not run phone/laptop at the same time. This worked. However, we really want the wifi signal to extend to our deck....only 30 feet from the router. Getting no bars with the new set up. Friends recommended the Netgear Powerline 1000 (PL1000) extenders. With this, can we plug the one unit with Ethernet cable into router and pc and place the second unit in an electric outlet on the deck to get wireless? Or do we need the setup that has the rabbit ears? Sorry if I'm on the wrong forum. I'm okay with software, but hardware confuses me and I could not figure out where to go. .
