Power Down Refusal
1 TopicSHOULD I PULL THE POWER LEAD OUT ON MY NAS?
Before you ask, I have a full suite of screen captures (and a video) answering all the usual "you haven't told me what firmware version you are using, what is the model number and so on and so on". I can supply these if requested and really needed. For now however, I am not supplying these, and just asking my question generically in the hope that is all I need to do. So generically: 1. I have a NETGEAR Readynas that is still stuck in start up (for a week now with nothing changing). 2. All the drive lights on the front of the unit are solid blue and the little blue light to the right these flashes every few seconds. 3. I can access all the files I care to sample test on this device, but I cannot open the "SETUP" button on Raidar (it is greyed out). 4. I cannot close the device by pressing its "ON/OFF" button on the front of the unit. (Nothing changes when I press this button, and its IP address that is continuously displayed on the front display doesn't change. 5. SHALL I JUST PULL THE POWER LEAD OUT OF THE BACK??? Appreciate any comments or advices. As at the top of this post, if you feel you really need me to supply additional info I am happy to do this to be limit of what is accessible to me as a NON TECHNICAL end user person.Solved3KViews0likes10Comments
