I have a CM400 Modem and Orbi AC2200 Wifi. I had no problem setting up my Samsung UN55MU6290FXZA Smart TV back in December. I was able to connect to the internet and stream media. Recently I lost my internet connection. I am able to connect to my orbi Wifi but the Samsung TV has an X when trying to connect to the internet. I have been on the phone with Samsung and we are able to connect to the internet with a hotspot. So they say it is not their issue. I have been on the phone with Comcast and because all my Vizio TV's work they say it is not their issue. I have tried every fix possible online. Power. Reset. Factory Reset. Manual DNS and even Sync/WPS. I can not get the TV to connect. I am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated. The TV is only 3 months old. I see online this is a common issue but most can resolve with the fixes above.Samsung Blu-ray player says the HTTP port is disabled
I am trying to connect my wired Samsung Blu-ray player to the internet and I keep getting the message that the HTTP port is disabled. I have tried assigning its own IP address and also entering the router settings manually into the player. Nothing works, so I’m looking for suggestions.Solved87KViews0likes11CommentsRN202 streaming to SMART TV
I'm wondering, if I'm trying to do something, that is not possible, or if there is an error in the system/setup. I have just installed my ReadyNAS 202 with 2 harddrives and uploaded a few video files. Same way as I did with my old STORA drive, but I guess this ReadyNas has some more options to play with and should be stronger. When I start my SmartTV (Samsung HT-E6500/XE) I can sometimes find the STORA box via AllShare, but never the ReadyNAS I have installed the PLEX app on both the RN202 and the SmartHub, and via PLEX I can find and watch the videos; but I would really like to find it directly in the AllShare folder from the loading screen, which would also make it more easy to listne to music. Since I get small glitches with PLEX, I guess it would also be better to stream it directly, no? Is it possible to set it up, like I want with the AllShare function, or is PLEX the only way?2.5KViews0likes3CommentsSpinpoint F4 HD204UI 2TB 5400 RPM working good so far
There was a recent deal at NewEgg on the SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 HD204UI 2TB 5400 RPM 32MB drives, so I decided to risk it as opposed to the other WD & Seagate 2tb drives. I installed them, upgraded the ReadyNAS firmware then did a factory reset. Disk 4 took most of an evening to resync, but finally finished. So far it's been running fine as I've been copying data off my old NV+ on to the new Ultra 4. The Ultra 4 is sitting in the bottom of my gun safe, so low heat is rather important to me and I thought a 5400 would be a better bet. So far I haven't seen any Temp1 above 140f or so and the HD's are usually at or under 100f, never seen one above 108f. I was worrried that the enclosed fireproof safe would end up retaining too much heat, but it's been 3 days now with no problems. When I have the safe open the drives are very quiet, not surprisingly closed you can't hear a thing at all. Will try and post later when I see how they hold up.
